Having worked with founders and companies on how AI works and how to put it to practical use, Matt brings that clarity to Signal™, turning customer and market understanding into the product and technology decisions that shape the platform. He leads PanOps’s model strategy, with Signal™ designed to support fine-tuning and adapting to each organization’s language and communication patterns. He works closely with PanOps’s architecture and AI systems co-founders on everything from secure ingestion to how Signal™ answers an executive’s question. Matt is a technology entrepreneur with a long background in software engineering and client-facing B2B work. He founded Mote Software, and co-founded Nano Collective, a community building open-source AI tools. Building these and leading technology at other startups taught him to own positive outcomes for customers, not just the technology behind them. He is driven by a conviction that has shaped Signal™ from the ground up: precision, performance, and privacy are complementary objectives, not competing ones - and they must all be in the hands of business leaders during this transformational period in economic history.

This co-founder designed PanOps’s entire platform architecture - the system that ingests communications from every connected source, processes them through a multi-stage intelligence pipeline, and delivers structured insight to a CEO’s query interface, all running inside each customer’s own dedicated, isolated environment on the PanOps platform. His architecture spans sixteen integrated data components with deliberate shared and dedicated tenancy decisions at every layer, a parallel episode-processing pipeline, graph and inverted-index structured layers, and an architectural isolation model that ensures customer data is never aggregated, never used for model training, and never visible to another customer. He has spent his career rising to a senior engineering position at one of the world’s leading hyperscalers. He holds dual degrees in Physics, with high honors.

This co-founder conceived and built Signal™’s entire inference architecture - the intelligence system that takes a CEO’s question, orchestrates parallel AI agents, traverses layered context from organizational summary to source-level detail, executes tool calls against graph and search indexes, and assembles a grounded, validated answer. He co-architected the tiered model pipeline that powers Signal™’s ingestion engine, working across small-model classification, LLM review, and deterministic evaluation to structure raw communications into organizational intelligence at scale. He also built the connector ecosystem that unifies email, messaging, video, and voice into a single intelligence layer. He is an AI engineer at one of the world’s most sophisticated and AI-forward legacy technology companies, where he built one of the industry’s earliest AI customer interfaces and backend systems. He is a former startup founder with a degree in Computer Science.
Tim Haddock
Executive Chairman
Tim is the founding investor and Executive Chairman of PanOps. Through Fremont Technologies, he made the first outside investment in the company and joined the founding team to lead commercial strategy, working alongside three exceptional technical builders who designed and built every layer of the Signal™ platform. Tim has led and overseen technology investments totaling over $20 billion across enterprise software, data infrastructure, and technology-enabled services. He is convinced that Signal™ represents a fundamentally different approach to organizational intelligence - one where a purpose-built system running inside each customer’s own dedicated environment outperforms generalized AI on every dimension that matters.
